Whether it’s a Tuesday family supper, Friday with friends or Sunday brunch, Old Irving’s focus on craft beer and delicious eats fits the bill. With our soul firmly planted in the rich food and beer traditions of the northwest side, our wood-fired grill sets the tone for the menu featuring slow roasted chickens, hanger steak with classic frites and grilled salmon.

Chefs Matthias and Michael Shrader (N9NE, LuxBar and Urban Union) teamed up to create a menu featuring both traditional gastropub fare, such as gourmet burgers and bacon cheddar mac and cheese, as well as delicious salads from our own urban farm, Planted, and a wide variety of meats grilled over our wood-fired oven.

We feature a large selection of craft beers, all brewed on premises. We offer brew tours and tastings and are proud to be a member of the Chicago craft beer community.

Our bar is a great place to gather with friends, watch a game and enjoy our large selection of our own craft brews or some of our favorite beers from our friends.

Beer Hall
The beer hall features high ceilings, tons of light and lots of seating. We don’t have communal seating like a traditional beer hall, but we do have a huge garage door we open in the summertime, TVs to watch your favorite game and plenty of good spirits!

Game Room
We have a game room featuring bean-bag toss and regularly host an indoor bocce league.

Events & Catering
Old Irving Brewing is an ideal space to host an event of almost any size. We host everything from 15-person birthday parties to large weddings and corporate events and have a variety of spaces to suit almost any need.
